The theme of this month's NFT PRIME artwork is "BlurThe "The".

this (something or someone close to the speaker (including the speaker), or ideas expressed by the speaker)Blur."The series is produced by skillfully integrating 3D technology and programming.

The artist is a young artist, Masamasa Koike.

Masamasa Koike has been inspired by contemporary dance in his creative work at Sandwich inc, and this work focuses on the unique and innovative human movement.

The movement of the line is created from the movement of the person, and furthermore, the color is generated from the movement of the line.

By depicting a running person with countless lines, the lines are interlocked as the person moves.

As this movement accelerates, the outlines of the lines gradually blur, and this effect creates the illusion that time and space themselves are wavering.

The colors are blue, white, and black, but they play a simple yet important role in evoking a sense of time and space.

The blue represents stillness and calmness, the black represents shadow and weight, and the white represents air and lightness, and the complex interplay of these elements represents the repeated stagnation, disappearance, and rebirth of form.

Masamasa Koike

Born in Aichi, Japan in 1995

Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Architecture, Faculty of Art and Design

As a CG creator, I belonged to Sandwich.inc, a creative platform led by sculptor Kohei Nawa, and have been engaged in spatial design and production of artworks using 3D technology and programming. In parallel, I am also active in an architectural design firm, where I am involved in design work and development of modeling tools.

As part of the projects I have been in charge of:

3D production and structural design of Kohei Nawa's large-scale installation "Metamorphosis Garden," which was exhibited in the atrium space of GINZA SIX from April 2021 to October 2022.

Interior design of cafe (THISIS)SHIZEN in Shinpukan, Kyoto, Japan

Programming of the wall artwork "CYCLE" installed in a complex in Ibaraki, Osaka

All processes (drawings, 3D, programming, site management) related to the design and construction of the architectural work "SANU BEE" of ADX Co.
